The Meme Rules:

Here we go.

#1 - My mom had another daughter besides myself, Her name is Kajia and she moved to Heaven when I was 2 years old. She was 6 years old and weighed about the same amount as a 1 year old. She was born with some complications and never walked or talked. All I remember of her was pictures that I have seen of us together. She was soo beautiful.

#2 - My name "Martta Katri" is a Finnish name meaning "Martha Katherine" I was named after my Grandmothers.

#3 - I grew up as a tomboy. I loved to do whatever my dad and brothers were doing! I got my first dartgun when I was 6 years old.

#4 - My mother was diagnosed with cancer when I was in my soph. year in High School. the Doctors told us that she had a couple of years at the most. But my mom was a fighter and out did the Doctors by five years! She passed away at our home on October 9th 2002.

#5 - While my mom was fighter for her life I became her home care taker. I did everything for her, bathed her, changed her and fed her. I had to quit going to school and said good-bye to my social life. I hated at the time getting up every two hours to clean up after her, but now that she is gone I would do anything to do what I use to. But at the same time I am glad that she is in Heaven and she is happy, healthy and with her little girl Kajia.

#6 - My husband I have know each other going on 16 years!! We dated for 5 years before we got engaged. We were engaged for only 2 1/2 months! We wanted to be able to get married when my mom was still with us, but she passed away a month after we got engaged, so she was there in our hearts.

#7 - Because of the years that I took care of my mom I can't stand it when girls don't get along with their moms. What a waste!

#8 - Our little Gracie girl is my little reminder of who my mom was. I wanted to name her Gracie because my mom had said once that she loved that name and she thought it was the perfect little girl name! So we now have Gracie Kay! "Kay" is my mom's middle name! Hope your proud mom! I know that you are! :)
